Church of the OO. Bernardynów in Rzeszów was built in the years 1610-1629. The founder - Mikołaj Spytek Ligęza, as a great worshiper of the Blessed Mother, in the foundation document of March 25, 1610, wrote: "in honor and glory of His saint and the Blessed Virgin Mary, I offer my Patroness." In the architectural and artistic layer, the building presents a harmonious layering of two mature styles - Renaissance and early Baroque, and very rich decorations characteristic of Rococo art.
