

The Eastern Forest Rangers College (EFRC) is the only forest training institution under Government of India exclusively to train Forest Range Officers. Established in 1974, the institute is located on picturesque St. Mary’s Hill in Kurseong near Darjeeling, overlooking the mighty Kanchenjunga. The institution has created generations of forest rangers who make India's forests safe. The Forest Rangers training in India is over 100 years old.
