

Estádio da Luz (Stadium of the Light), officially named Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Lisbon, Portugal. The stadium is used mostly for football matches, hosting the home matches of S.L. Benfica. It is also called A Catedral (The Cathedral) by Benfica supporters. It was opened on 25 October 2003 with an exhibition match between Benfica and Nacional of Montevideo.
