Gurney Drive Roundabout – Georgetown, Malaysia

The Gurney Drive Roundabout is one of the most popular landmarks in the city of George Town which is located in the Malaysian island of Penang. The highloght of the roundabout is a wave shaped sculpture called The Wave of Prosperity which was erected to symbolize the prosperity of the Penang island. The Municipal Council of Penang Island (Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang, in Malay) is responsible for the maintenance of this roundabout.
