Iffigfall – Bernese Oberland, Switzerland

Plunging more than 100 metres, the Iffigfall is one of the most impressive waterfalls in the Bernese Oberland. The natural, unspoilt course of the stream, with its gorge-like sections and waterfalls, is part of the vast Gelten-Iffigen conservation area. All the energy of the raging water gathers in a small hollow at the base of the Iffigfall, making the place just like an ion bath. The water becomes highly charged by the speed at which it rushes over the rocks and boulders and produces a really stimulating atmosphere.
