Stigfossen Waterfall – Rauma, Norway

Stigfossen is one of the pair of main waterfalls surrounding the famous 11-turn serpentine road Trollstigen ("the troll ladder") in Norway. This memorable scene of steep switchbacking roads where you can see one waterfall or the other at each switchback will very much remind one of another famous serpentine road with a pair of waterfalls flanking it - Stalheimskleiva. The larger waterfall that you noticed as you approach Trollstigen is Stigfossen. The height of this waterfall is 180m.
